We usually charge £100 for an initial consultation.  At consultation, we will review your paperwork, take instructions from you, and advise you accordingly.

Subsequently, we will give you an estimate for your case.

Our hourly rates are based on who is dealing with your case.

Our hourly rates are as follows:

• Principal: £280.00

• Solicitor: £150.00

• Caseworker: £100.00

• Routine letters and phone calls are charged at 10% of the hourly rate of the applicable fee earner

We provide excellent and distinctive fixed-fee debt recovery service.  With our fixed fee there is a single fee for each phase of our recovery work.

The costs for each work differ based on the quantity of documents provided, the emergency and the difficulty of your case.  All fees cited are estimations and are based on the circumstance of your case.

Phase 1 – chasing debtors

Our fee for sending initial letters and making telephone calls is £150.00 plus VAT.

Phase 2 – court proceedings 

Our fees for progressing your case to trial range from £500.00 - £1000.00 plus VAT.

Phase 3 – enforcement 

Our fees for assisting you in taking enforcement action vary from £350.00 - £750.00 plus VAT. 

In certain situation, we may be able to offer you a capped conditional fee agreement (CFA).  This is a form of “no win no fee” agreement. 

With our CFA, we would recover our fees from the opposing party if your claim is successful.

If your claim is unsuccessful you would pay us a fixed sum for our costs, agreed at the outset of the claim, plus VAT.

We would not be able to offer CFA for debt claims valued at less than £10,000 as it is not possible to recover legal fees from a debtor for claims below this amount.

Our fees on average for CFA are £750.00 to £2,500.00 plus VAT.  This is if your case is uncontested.  If the matter is contested our fees are £1,500.00 to £3,000.00 plus VAT.  

Please note that if your case becomes complicated there is a likelihood that our fees could exceed £3000.00.  In this situation, we will give you comprehensive advice on costs.

Please also note that all our charges are exclusive of disbursements.

Value added tax (VAT) of 20% is added to our fees. 

There may be other costs in addition to our fees. These are disbursements which are charges that we will need to pay on your behalf as part of your instruction, such as mediation fees, court fees and Barrister’s fees. We will discuss these fees or any additional fees with you prior to acquiring them.  This means we will not agree any disbursement without you granting us the approval to do so.

As a standard practice, the debtor will pay most of the costs incurred.  Nonetheless, this may not be the case in debt of less than £10,000.
